School Choir visit to Winchester Christmas Market

On Wednesday our School Choir visited the Christmas Market to sing Christmas Carols to
raise funds for the Hampshire Autism Charity. Everyone, children and staff, thoroughly
enjoyed the event. We would like to thank the many parents, grandparents, and friends
who were there to hear us – we really appreciated the support.

Choir report:

On Wednesday 10th December Ollie B choir went to Winchester to sing Christmas Carols at
the Christmas Market. Firstly we got on the coach and played a few games and sang
songs. Then in about 10 minutes time we were there! I could feel the tension rising as we
stepped outside.

Then we walked through the Christmas Market to the food court and positioned ourselves beside the
Maple Syrup and French Crêpes stalls. It was very tempting to just stop singing and go and eat some
food but I kept on singing.

The first song we sang was The 12 Days of Christmas, next we sang the Cowboy Carol, then
we sang Winter Wonderland, followed by Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Philippine Carol. We finished with Silent Night, Starry Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
