Lifeboat Station Visit

On Tuesday Badgers and Frogs went on a coach to the lifeboat station in Portsmouth. It was a long
journey and when we got there it was extremely windy. We went into a room and met Brittany and she showed us some equipment. The floor was a bit slippery but I could cope because I had big boots on. The bottom of the boat was as soft as a pillow. If the boat tipped over nobody would be able to tip it the right way because it is too heavy, even for the whole crew. Later we went for some snack but Miss Williams was worried about the waves because they crashed around us but I was fine. After that we wandered around and although I was tired I kept on going. Later on we went home and on the ride back I coloured in a lifeboat picture.
